My First Quarter Journey
Before I became a grade 10, I am always curious on what will I learn. I expected it to be hard or difficult to understand and sometimes I imagine what will I gain from that lesson. But now that I am a grade 10 student, I learned that in my first quarter experience some lessons where easy to understand and it became a part of my knowledge and expertise in a particular subject. Example is in ICT, I learned the deeper definition of web browser and web server. Unlike my past learning experience I find it hard to differentiate the two. Furthermore, I also learned the history of internet--on how our country connected to the internet because our internet Filipino pioneers and how internet significantly influences our modern technologies and innovations. This, discoveries in my first quarter journey is just the beginning of my development.
Some problems and challenges that I face where my lack of time and too much school works that needs to be submitted. One of which is when I pass my project in precal and did not finish my required notes in research a day after its deadline. From 20 points to 19 or 18 points, I realize that I need to pick up my pace for the next quarter. I also get easily tired every after classes because I lack time to rest from cramming my school works. Therefore, my participation in every class discussion was affected and I cannot focus on what my teacher is trying to explain in each lessons. I also stressed myself out on research because I need to prepare for a title defense. I need to recognize my self on the topic of our title proposals and as a result, I did not have time for other subjects and activities. Because of this problems and challenges that I faced, it was hard for me to simultaneously listen and interpret clearly the lessons because i was thinking on how to finish my other unfinished school works
However, I did not let this problems and challenges to lead me on low grades and for me to not join the first quarter honors. After I face each problems and challenges, I always change my schedules to ensure that I will have enough rest as well as finish my school works. If I have time to do my assignments or projects at school, I will finish it on my free time so that at night I can review and take down notes on some other subjects. In weekends, I will take advantage this free time for me to relax, rest, help my family to do house chores, and reflect on some activities that i did on weekdays. I will also not forget to do some activities so that I can submit before the deadline. If I miss a lesson or did not understand it, I will seek assistance to my classmates who understand the lesson, some times I join group discussion with them during lunch. For me to be productive, I always listen to music while working with projects or thematic. And the most important thing that I did to address this problems and challenges is to properly prioritize my studies than other things that I love to do like playing online games and watching anime.
Moving on, I will do my best to hone my self in this journey. I will my motivate my self to accomplish my task at the right time and to always tell myself that, "After each day, there is always a new opportunity", so that in this present time I will never waste an opportunity. I will keep on moving to develop myself. For me to be prepared for another quarter experience and for me to practice my self to adapt any kind of situation where I will face a new problem or challenges.

In Poetry
I am who I am; my passion reflects my ambition and my creation is the result of my broad imagination. For now, I dream of becoming an architect, to apply my own designs on houses or buildings and to finally see the output of my artistic capabilities on greater projects. My birth date is April 15, 2010 and throughout my journeys in life, my morale is always influenced by my parents. They are the ones who support me through thick and thin, comfort me whenever I need someone's company, and because of this, I am grateful to them. My motto in life is "I never lose, I either win or learn" inspired by Nelson Mandela. This motto help me on realizing that my defeats will always be a good opportunity to learn something about myself--I am someone who doesn't give up easily, trying my best will always be my option on achieving any goals in my life.
I say "I am" but in poetry I say, my dream will be my beams of light. Guiding me through the darkness and becoming apart of my journey, impacting my growth and shaping my might. A change that will surely help me stand with my own two feet, to travel and learn, day and night. But as far as I go, I should always look at my back to see who i used to be, someone fragile and light but wishes to take flight in her own dreams. Experiences are teachers who seems to be reminding me about my true self, standing proud with head held high toward a future who I am, a reflection of myself, and that person is me Luizza Channel Peralta.
